Well 2014 came and went, and I did not do ANY blogging! I can't believe an entire year went by, and I didn't stop to check in. This year I hope to slow down and document more of my life...because I really do love looking back at all I've seen, experienced, and learned.
This upcoming year should be a pretty wild year! I got engaged in June of last year, and I'm knee deep in planning an August 2015 wedding. I am no where near done planning, and would love any tips or advice you may have.

Anyway... as you can tell my mind is currently overwhelmed with wedding thoughts and ideas, and they have no doubt snuck into my resolutions for this year.
1. Live in the moment
The older I get, the faster the year goes! I have been do busy with work the last few years that I forget to stop, look around, and enjoy where I am with my life. I want to actively try to stop, smell the roses, and enjoy the end of my twenties.
2. Set a monthly health & fitness goal
This is a routine Rob and I got into near the end of last year. I find it much easier to set mini goals, instead of a fitness resolution for the year. Some of the goals we completed last year consisted of; running 50 miles in a month, making sure to hit the gym 4 times a week, following a whole 30 for the month and so on. We have started out this year by deciding to follow the paleo diet for the entire month of January.
3. Lose 20 pounds before June of this year
With an August wedding and several fun events coming up this spring and fall, I want to feel confident with my body and ready for my wedding day. My weight has slowly creeped up since college, and I'm ready (physically and mentally) to get healthy and fit before my wedding. I know this will be one of the toughest challenges for me, but I'm excited to tackle this one!
4. Blog at least once a week
From experience, I know that I'm not at a place with my job where I can commit to blogging every day, but I need to make more of an effort to blog for me. I enjoy taking the time to document recipes, and get out my thoughts, so I need to make/take the time to do it.
