The best luck I have had losing (and keeping off) weight in the past has been when I take the time to write down everything I eat/graze/chow down on everyday.
I am currently following the Primal lifestyle, but have had some trouble with falling off the wagon lately (d'oh!). I have been tempted lately by birthday cake (ahh), pizza, tailgating food, and consequently feel myself becoming more sluggish.
I have decided it is time to start keeping track of what I am eating and how I am feeling, but can't find a convenient way to do it while at work.
My old standby of keeping a small journal with me at all times just isn't making the cut during the work day.
In college this little gem was my best friend...

More recently I have tried keeping an excel sheet, writing down food/activity on a note card and keeping it in my phone case, and updating a recurring event on my Google calendar with the information. None of these methods have worked as well for me as seeing the day-by-day hard copy in my journal.
So I am throwing it out to any of you who keep a food journal at work...how do you do it?
Do you keep an 'actual' journal with you during the day? Do you use phone apps? Any tips would be appreciated! I need something quick and easy to do during the busy work day, but something I can keep private from any prying eyes. :)
