Hi all!
Rob and I had such a great time out and about in downtown Detroit this afternoon. We first stopped by Campus Martius Park to ice skate for a little while, before grabbing some lunch.
Every year sometime between March and November I COMPLETELY forget how to ice skate. Luckily after a few laps, we got it together and had some fun. Other than a few wild-child skaters trying to take us out, things went pretty smoothly.

After ice skating we went for a walk downtown and did a little window shopping. It is so nice to see more and more stores opening up downtown every time we venture down there. A lot of things are in the works for Detroit, and I am excited to be a part of the city's renaissance.
After skating and shopping we had worked up a good appetite and were ready to eat. All day I knew that I was craving something savory and flavorful for lunch, and we decided that Hot Taco would do the trick.

I ordered a naked (no wrap) pulled pork burrito with a side of guacamole, and it was perfect. Everything from the mango salsa to the shredded muenster cheese tasted so fresh. This place never disappoints and it actually pretty affordable.
Off to meet up with some friends in town for the long holiday weekend!
